Join us Sunday May 14th when Osita brings the Circus to you! From 6-9pm, we’re going under the big top and bringing some of the best performers Vancouver has to offer to our stage to tantalize your senses and take your breath away.
Hosted by everyone’s favourite clown, Leslie Brownlee and featuring performances by;

LESLIE BROWNLEE is a writer and actor. Her training includes over a decade of studio classes in scene study, text analysis and physical theatre training. In 2015 she earned her Associate of Arts degree in Creative Writing at Capilano University. Her fiction, essays, and poetry have since appeared in The Liar, Bread Magazine and SAD Mag. She is a member of the Playwrights Theatre Centre and Wet Ink Collective.
KASHA KANAKA is a Japanese-Canadian circus artist and contortionist based in Vancouver, Canada. Kasha specializes is contortion, balancing on her hands and bending and twisting in incredible ways. Though not her specialty, she also has experience performing aerial hoop, aerial net, hand-to-hand, and acrobatics as well as many original apparatus.
LOLA LOOPS, is a passionate multi-disciplinary artist. Her love of movement came in the form of a Hula Hoop— It was there that she first established a space to explore her body, in spiral form. Her desire to explore and train further spun her straight into the realms of street and contemporary dance, theatrics, soft acrobatics and clowning. Pushing the status quo from the ground up, Lola aspires to weave stories that are meaningful and vulnerable with her signature touch of silly and sass.
FLOWIN OWEN is a multi disciplined circus artist, flow artist and fire performer. When he is not travelling and learning from different cultures around the world, Flowin Owen can be found performing on the streets of Vancouver, at festivals and other community events. Connecting the audience through inner child play, imagination and vulnerability, Flowin Owen aims to inspire others to play with the use of prop manipulation, juggling and balance.
JONATHAN ZOLINA, better known by his stage name as Jojo Dancer is a Filipino/Canadian dance educator, artistic director, choreographer and performer. Jojo is recognized for continually trail-blazing a style and standard that has infused itself into today’s mainstream dance world from Madonna to Nelly Furtado, to La Roux. Original Cast of Spectra’s Cabaret and Pixel Cabaret. In the film and TV realm, he has made a presence in Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Legends of Tomorrow, Valley of The Boom, and Limetown to name a few.
